WHY WE LOVE IT
–
The GMT-Master Reference 1675 is a genre-defining timepiece.
The second generation of the dual timezone wristwatch from Rolex, the 1675 was introduced in 1960 and saw nearly two decades of continuous production, resulting in a myriad of dial and case variations that have become one of the most exciting sub-genres of vintage Rolex collecting.
This beautiful example dates to circa 1971, and features a strong professionally refurbished case housing a matte black Tritium dial with matching handset, a magnified acrylic crystal, an Oyster bracelet with a blade clasp, and the iconic 'Pepsi' bezel insert.
Be warned - trying on a 1675 on will undoubtedly ruin you for the modern iterations!
OVERALL CONDITION
The case is in excellent condition overall showing signs of previous professional refurbishing and light wear consistent with age and use. Matte black Tritium dial is in fantastic condition showing even patination with matching handset. 'Pepsi' bezel insert shows even fade to blue. Signed crown.
