WHY WE LOVE IT

We all know the Daytona story that of a model that has proven to be an all-time favorite amongst collectors. Why? Rolex's brilliant motorsports chronograph is in pole position in any category, vintage or modern. And while current automatic versions admittedly don't do as much for us as a nice hand-cranking example, a Daytona is a Daytona, and that's just fine with us. But this is no run of the mill modern Daytona... This particular watch , a Reference 116509H, dates to circa 2007-2008 and features a 40mm 18k white gold Oyster case, a sapphire crystal, a lovely Mother of Pearl dial with factory applied diamond indices and a matching handset, and a matching 18k white gold Oyster bracelet with Rolex's excellent Easylink Fliplock clasp. The Daytona, in all its various guises, has long been a favorite of collectors the world over, and it's easy to see why in the case of this contemporary piece!

OVERALL CONDITION The case is in excellent condition showing normal signs of wear consistent with age and use. Pink 'Mother of Pearl' dial with factory applied diamond indices and recessed 'Meteorite' subsidiary registers is in outstanding, as-new condition with matching handset. Signed Crown.
