EXPERIENCE THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
In 1968, the crew of Apollo 8 became the first humans to see the dark side of the moon, orbiting the moon 10 times over 20 hours. The Omega Speedmaster Grey Side of The Moon Meteorite pays tribute to the astronauts who embarked on this famous mission.
Embodying the brand’s pioneering spirit, this incredible chronograph pays homage to the ground-breaking lunar mission with a dial crafted from prehistoric meteorite.
NOTABLE FEATURES
This incredible 44.25mm timepiece features a ceramic case, which has been innovatively heated to transform it into metallic grey, inspired by the lunar dust settled on the moon during the Apollo 8 mission.
Formed from ancient, ethereal stone, the dial has been etched to reveal a one-of-a-kind pattern on each watch, further enhanced by 18k Sedna™ gold hands, a date display, and two sub-dials. The 18K Sedna™ gold bezel presents a Ceragold™ tachymeter scale alongside a silicon nitride ring.
Powered by the 9300 calibre movement, visible through the transparent caseback, this chronograph is an inventive addition to the Speedmaster collection.
