WHY WE LOVE IT
Rolex has been making beautiful, art-forward timepieces since their inception - some of them even earning "Oyster" nomenclature by featuring waterproof cases - something most design-forward watches don't offer. Dating to circa 1964, this Oyster Perpetual Reference 6627 is really something else. It features a 30m 18k yellow gold Oyster case with a magnified acrylic crystal, a finely fluted yellow gold bezel, a lovely sunburst silver Tritium dial with applied indices and a matching Dauphine handset, and last but certainly not least a stunning yellow gold woven bracelet with a signed blade clasp. This lovely watch is a sensational example of Rolex's ability to flex their more creative and artistic capabilities when the mood strikes - all while maintaining the water resistance and toughness the brand is known for! You wont see another one of these out in the wild - don't miss this one!
OVERALL CONDITION The case is in excellent condition overall showing normal wear consistent with age and use. Sunburst silver Tritium dial with applied 'dart' indices is in equally excellent condition showing light, even patination throughout and even patination to Tritium elements with matching 'dauphine' handset. Signed crown.
