The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 in bronze is the newest addition to the 41-millimetre Pilot’s Chronograph collection. It features a case, pushers and a crown made of bronze, a blue dial with subdued beige printing, and gold-plated hands. Alongside copper, the bronze used by IWC also contains aluminium and iron. This specific composition makes the alloy around 50 per cent harder than standard bronze. The material’s exceptional biocompatibility is an important additional characteristic. Bronze also develops a unique patina over time, giving each timepiece a distinct character and look of its own. The chronograph is powered by the IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre. The movement enables stop time measurements of up to 12 hours and is engineered with a focus on robustness, reliability, and precision. The chronograph function is controlled by a column wheel. A bi-directional pawl winding system builds up a power reserve of up to 46 hours in the mainspring. Fitted on a blue textile strap, the chronograph also features IWC’s EasX-CHANGE®. It enables the wearer to change the strap at the touch of a button and without any additional tools.
