BEAUTIFULLY PROPORTIONED
The Chronomat was first introduced in 1984, bravely going against the trend of the day for extra-thin quartz timepieces, and instead presenting a robust, impressively proportioned mechanical watch.
And it’s a risk that paid off. Inspired by Freece Tricolori chronograph, launch in 1983 in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron, the model proved a popular celebration of Breitling’s centenary and hailed the return of the mechanical chronograph to prominence.
This Chronomat B01 42 is characterised by a robust, stainless steel case, the iconic bezel with four rider tabs, and the signature Rouleaux bracelet.
ACCELERATED PERFORMANCE
This 42mm Chronomat model features red gold hands and indexes alongside three sub dials, on a silver-tone dial.
The iconic bezel includes four red gold rider tabs and is presented on a stainless steel and 18K red gold case with a co-ordinating bracelet.
For accelerated performance, this timepiece is powered by the Breitling 01 calibre movement.
