This slim and elegant dress piece couldn't be any further removed from the bulky brute of the Royal Oak Offshore line that Audemars Piguet is perhaps most commonly known for amongst today's collectors. Hearkening back to a simpler time, it’s representative of an era in which the maison made so few timepieces per year that many were unique pieces, or part of incredibly limited series.

Housed in a 34mm 18K yellow gold case with an acrylic crystal, an unsigned crown, and a stunning, stepped hobnail bezel, this elegant dress piece features a brushed, champagne dial with applied yellow gold baton indices and a matching black-painted pencil handset. Powered by the automatic, 36-jewel Calibre K2120 from Audemars Piguet, it comes paired to a black leather strap with a gold-plated pin buckle.

With its winning design, svelte profile, and automatic winding, this little stunner from AP is most decidedly not the type of dress watch one comes across every day — even when one works in the vintage watch business!

The case is in very good condition overall showing signs of light previous polishing and normal wear consistent with age and use. Brushed champagne dial with applied 'baton' indices is in very good condition showing light patination to the indices with matching black painted 'pencil' handset. Unsigned crown.
